Entries are now open for the 2025 RSPBA Oceania Solo Drumming Championships at Rangi Ruru Girls School in Christchurch. Events for the 2025 event include: The RSPBA Oceania Adult Snare MSR*; The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 5 Snare Championship; The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 4 Snare Championship; The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 3 Snare Championship; The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 2 Snare Championship; and The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 1 Snare Championship. *The top four place-getters in the Adult Snare MSR automatically qualify for the 2025 RSPBA World Solo Drumming Championships Semi-Final.In addition, there is a separate Adult Snare Hornpipe & Jig event. The Wayne Hobbs trophy for NZ Open Solo Drumming champion will be awarded to the aggregate winner of the RSPBA Oceania Adult Snare MSR and Adult Snare Hornpipe & Jig events.
